Michael Wolff Confesses Trust Issues
I Want Media asks Vanity Fair media critic Michael Wolff what he thinks of media "pundits" such as James Wolcott (also a VF writer), Kurt Andersen and Keith Olberman launching their own blogs. His response will surely result in some decisive table-picking in the Condé cafeteria:
I distrust everything about blogs. Not least of all the word itself. I'm pretty suspicious of the people who are performing this act, too. Even more suspicious of the Johnnie come latelys to this performance. My idea is that there ought to be more quiet in this world. We should all cultivate silence.
Michael Wolff calls for silence. Would you like some coffee with your irony?
