Journalism Still Not Based In Reality

Last week, Fox News ran an article in which Kerry was quoted as saying things after the debate such as, "Didn't my nails and cuticles look great? What a good debate!" (The quotes have since been removed from the article) Shortly thereafter, Fox News went all Dan Rather on us and admitted that the quotes were just exercises in creative writing:
Fox News quickly retracted the article, saying in an editor's note on its Web site that the article "was written in jest and should not have been posted or broadcast." It said, "We regret the error, which occurred because of fatigue and bad judgment, not malice."
A psychotically-conservative cable news company showing malice towards a Democratic candidate? No, never. But fatigue? Sure, when we're tired, we all publish fictitious shit as the truth.
