I had to let it sink in before I spread the news, I saw Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen (or I as I like to call them MKAO) standing outside of a Nolita cafe. Yes, I know, stop screaming, it was very cool. I was with my mother who screamed, "Oh my God its the twins," Thank goodness she screamed in Farsi and not English, though it was probably still weird that a lady was pointing at them and screaming exitedly in a foreign lanuage. When my sister mentally regained conciousness we walked away, trying to act cool. I had my mom stay in the car— on Mary Kate alert— while I had some things to do. Yes, if your wondering she ate. The next week I saw Mike Myers aka "YEH BABY YEH," walking passed the same Cafe.

I saw donatella versace on saturday afternoon (9/25). she was wearing a black sleeveless shell, black pants and giant black sunglasses. no limo idling curbside but she was accompanied by a hulking bodyguard. not sure why she would be standing on west broadway, a few doors south of d&g, at 4pm. the streets were teeming with tourists. The next day I saw kai from as four standing outside of schillers. At first I thought he was a crazy homeless man. it must have been the unwashed hair, days old stubble, non existent short shorts and hairy white legs ending in a pair of low boots. then I noticed the ubiquitous "circle" bag on his arm. kai is not aging gracefully considering he used to be a male model at ford. in terms of the "scary sweepstakes", kai wins hands down. rehab has been good to donatella!

Saw Cynthia Nixon on corner of 94th/Amsterdam trying to hail a cab this morning (9/24) at 9am- was on her cell phone looking upset- could it be today's headlines? Looking thinner than on the Emmys.

Rob Lowe on West Broadway and Spring on Thursday night around 7:45. Well-tanned and tiny like all these actors seem to be.

Saw Dr. J on Tuesday sans illegitimate children buying a very Cosby-looking sweater at Saks.

Wednesday on Prince Street spotted Mickey Rourke walking solo, head down (as if anyone really cares about him now) in a white blazer with black pin stripes, looked like something Tony Montana would have thrown out.

Thursday at 66 saw Thom Filicia (the interior design guy) of Queer Eye sitting at a big table for someone's 40th birthday.

Grandpa looking Woody Allen and granddaughter looking Soon Yee holding, hands walking in their hood, at Madison and 83rd at 5 pm. Must have been coming home from the early-bird special...

At the Tin House Party that i crashed, i saw Anthony Swofford, Darin Strauss, Francine Prose, Rick Moody, Amanda Stern, Heidi Julavits and some guy who looked too much like David Duchovney to not be David Duchovney (and very much WITH Amanda Stern).

Just saw Daryl Hannah looking most relaxed heading down Greenwich St. (no doubt from a lunch at Pastis) with a vintage 16mm camera under one arm and a slightly younger-looking, tall attractive euro-type man under the other. After passing I turned around to see them smooching... she looks much less severe in person.

A friend and I were dining in Cafe Mozart on 70th Street in New York City on Friday August 13 at about 5:30PM. We had just finished seeing the movie "Garden State" and were having desert in the cafe. As we had been seated for only a few minutes, I saw two women walking from the back of the cafe towards the door. I looked up and one of them was Anne Hathaway from "The Princess Diaries 2." Extremely skinny.

Muhammad Ali getting a round of applause in nobu and handing out signed pix to anyone in his path.

I took my puppy Jack for a walk around the block and as we were approaching the newsstand at the corner of 66th and Columbus, I heard some guy make the smooching sound you make when you call a dog, you know? So I sorta half look up, but it's 7AM and I m sleepy so I wasn t paying attention to who the guy might have been. Jack squiggles around on the ground and squirms all over the guy's feet and jumps all over him for a while, while the guy is asking me how old Jack is, what his name is, etc. So I go to answer and it turns out that it's Tony Danza, on his way to work (his show is shot at ABC, which is one building west of ours). Jack continues to waggle all over him until the poor guy (Tony) is thoroughly entangled in the leash, so I untangled them and we started to go on our separate ways. We were going the same direction, since the studio entrance is on my way back to my apartment. We walked together the rest of the way and chatted, much to the delight of my dog! He used to have a golden retriever and recently had to put it to sleep so Jack really cheered him up. Aww. He's a really nice guy, but man is he tiny! No wonder they had to cast Danny de Vito in Taxi, otherwise Tony would have looked like a midget. He works out, though, because he's got nice arms.

Friday morning, 9/24: Saw famed Screw Magazine publisher Al Goldstein chomping on a big cigar and walking east on 9th St. bet. 4th and 3rd aves. Not looking as homeless as he's reported to be, although his mildewy brown sportcoat and polyester ensemble did seem a bit on the hand-me-down side. Obviously, whatever his current situation is, it's working for him, as he's looking rather svelte of late...

With all due respect to the most eccentric-yet-levelheaded pundit in the media, Lewis Black looked like a crazy old trannie walking east on E13th Street with bags of groceries.

Saw the just-fired Stacy from The Apprentice in the lobby of Rockefeller Center, where she seemed just as spacy as she did on TV. They called her schizophrenic; I call her SPACY STACY. (No, it's not funny, but it beats "CRAZY STACY, THAT FUCKING NUT".)

Earlier today (Saturday) I waited in line for cupcakes at Magnolia behind Pharrell. He was with a large bodyguard and two not-that-attractive females, one of which was holding his hand. All except the bodyguard were decked out in Pharrell's ugly and horribly named "Ice Cream" shoe line, but my biggest complaint is that after they got their cupcakes they scraped the icing off of them and dumped it in the trash can. WTF? He was friendly, though, and after Pharrell danced around in the middle of Bleecker for a bit, they walked off into the sunset together towards 8th Ave.

Real World New Olreans cutie Danny Roberts and his boyfriend Paul checking out the Friday night frat boy party "Boys Gone Wild" at Boys Room in the East Village. I think wholesome Danny was a little shocked by the towel dance. On Sunday, Big Brother 5's Will Wikle was sunning himself and his gorgeous abs on the Christopher Street Pier. Will is just as hot in person as he was in that damn house.

I was Bergdorf's yesterday and when I saw Jamie Gleicher from Rich Girls. At first I didn't notice her (even though she was wearing these ENORMOUS Chanel sunglasses) but then she started talking to this man and woman signing books. When I heard her voice, I knew it was her immediately. She told the people she was buying the book for her mom and could they sign it "Eat More Chocolate Shelia" (it was a chocolate cookbook). I wanted to catch her in a bitch moment but she was really nice and very sweet to the salesgirl.

Saw Victoria Gotti sans three little sons, going into Lucky Cheng's on saturday night. She was with two would-be thugs and her camera crew. She's not THAT bad to look at compared to her photos. very small, and not as body-builder-esque. (perhaps she was there to apply for a job.)

Saw Kieran Culkin at Don Hill's TisWas party on Saturday night. Looked very cute with his pin-straight brunette pageboy flopped down over one side of his face. He spent much of the night standing against the corner of the bar in one of those "I dont want to be noticed but I want to be noticed not wanting to be noticed" poses. The vibe in the club was very shmoozy and dancy, but he acted sort of above it all. Later in the evening, he was surrounded by two or three rather excited girls that wouldn't exactly qualify for America's Next Top Model. There was much hugging and playful canoodling. Still, he acted so stiff that my friends and I were about to drag him onto the dancefloor to shake him out of his funk. Guess he was all distraught about brother Macauley's legal woes.

Last night around 11:30 (9/26), I literally ran into David Blaine, sketchy magician guy, walking into Babbo. He was holding a deck of cards in his hand and I asked him to levitate for me, but he just laughed. Some attractive ladies followed him, along with Sean Penn (!), which was really random. I gave Sean Penn a look that said, "Uhh...what the fuck are you doing with David Blaine?" which he returned with a look that said, "Stop looking at me or I'm going to tear your head off." Sean Penn looked really old and grisly, and he fondled the ass of the young girl accompanying him as she walked in the door ahead of him. The whole experience was bizarre and made me feel kinda dirty.

hilary swank and chad lowe at virgin union sq. saturday evening asking a staffer for help while cd shopping.

just saw brandon and nikki from amazing race strolling east along 11th street at 3:00 pm. both were carrying starbucks and gripping each others' hands. he is gorgeous but she looked bridge-and-tunnelesque and SHORT. model my ass.

Saw Fifty Cent getting mobbed walking down wall st. and turning down broad st (which he prob thought the name was an indication of all the hoes on the block) . This guy must be lost...or jacking some businessmen.

adam duritz sighted drinking champagne with friends at the pink elephant, looking very cozy w/ blonde.

I was at Da Silvano's last night and I saw Tate Donovan sitting at an outside table. You know. He was on a couple of episodes of Friends. and I think he dated Jennifer Aniston in real life. Before the Brad. Anyway at first I thought, "Man, that guy looks like a really old Tate Donovan." Then I realized it was a really old Tate Donovan. Not for nothing, but if your name is Tate I don't think you're supposed to age. It's like being an old Skip or a young Murray. It doesn't fit. He was sitting with a lithe young brunette. I had the gnocci alla aragosta, it was delish.

I was coming from Union Square Park last Friday night and I saw Mos Def on 5th and 17th. Mr Def was el fabo in a red velvet blazer, newsboy cap, and flared jeans-he was with a big black dude that looked like a body guard (no fashion sense whatsoever — how else do you explain it?)

Saw Seth Meyers from Saturday Night Live in the West Village tonight. Wearing jeans and a tshirt, he looked grungy, but very very sexy. Much hotter in person than on SNL.

Sunday, 9/26 - Jason Kravit, car bomb victim and unrequited love interest of Lara Flynn Boyle on "The Practice" eating a salad walking east on 14th Street.

Saw former 80s-90s movie staple (remember "Swimming With Sharks?") Frank Whaley with two tiny tots at the 7th Avenue Whole Foods Market, looking overwhelmed and eliciting major sympathy as a clearly over his head single papa.

Monday, 9/27 - "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy's" Carson Kressley talking (or pretending to talk) on his cell walking east on 34th Street. Nattily dressed in an ink blue suit with dark pink pinstripes and dark pink lining.
