We don't listen to Rush Limbaugh unless we know he's high — and, since he's reportedly clean now, he's fallen off our radar. So it came as much surprise to stumble across a transcript featuring a soundbite from fallen media angel Tina Brown. But why bother with Tina's quote (at this point, it's more fun to guess what she said than read her actual words) when Rush gives us such a stunning introduction:

Here's Tina Brown who, my friends, if you want to know, and you may not outside of New York, but if you want to know who defines media elitism in New York, it's Tina Brown and her husband, Harry Evans.

Harry Evans used to be a publisher somewhere. He did Joe Klein's book, Anonymous, remember that? By anonymous, it was Joe Klein about Clinton, what a great guy he was. What was the name of that book? Paternity Suit? What was the name of the book? I can't remember the name of the book. Surprise, Primal Prize, whatever it is. Primary Colors, that's what it was. Primal Surprise. I knew it had a primal in there. Primary Colors. Anyway, that's who Harry Evans is, but Tina Brown is a Brit, and she's not happy — she is not happy, but she, just in New York, folks, she defines — she used to run the New Yorker, used to run Vanity Fair, now, she's got this show on CNBC that nobody watches but the gossip columns all report who said what on it.

Shit, Tina's not happy? No one is watching her show? Only New Yorkers know who she is? This Rush dude is super-informative, eh?
