It's official: Jesse Oxfeld, the Editor-in-Chief of online media hive MediaBistro, has left the building. We thought it was because his little fingers were tired of punching up sexy interviews and hot job listings, but he's really just moving on to Editor & Publisher where we suppose he'll be doing more of the same. We did some "real" journalism and got a quote from the Ox himself:

Yup, it's true. I've accepted a job as the top web guy for Editor & Publisher magazine, and so I'll be leaving mediabistro.com in a few weeks. I hate change, so this is kind of sad, but it's a great opportunity. Plus, a guy can only spend so long in feathered boa. (Well, out of the house, at least.)

While we ponder the implications of a lateral move under the premise of boa issues, we encourage you to apply for Jesse's job, which is located in "Soho, baby."
