LA.comfidential's Laurie Pike notices this interesting marketing ploy in the September issue of Los Angeles magazine:

And now the Mickey Fine Pharmacy in Beverly Hills is using its purported clients to add luster to its name, reports Los Angeles magazine. The press release reads, "Stop in to fill a prescription and you may rub elbows with Jennifer Lopez or Nicole Richie."

As long as they're naming clients, why doesn't the savvy pharmacy take their marketing push to the next level, Amazon-style? "Stars who filled questionable prescriptions for this drug also abuse OxyContin, Xanax, and Adderall." We think we're onto something here.
