Shop Etc., the new Hearst shopping magazine, had a freebie-filled launch party last night at Milk Studios. We were totally going to leave the house for it, but we thought maybe we'd like to save what's left of our soul. The first brave report from others:

Last night I went to the Shop Etc. launch party at Milk Studios. What a swagapalooza. People were given big pink shopping bags and went trick or treating to different corners of the room where they picked up J. Crew leopard tanks, Pier One Rattan baskets, Origins Ginger Souffl and much more. The really pricey items - like Celine pumps - were kept under Plexiglas to keep sticky fingers at bay. While waiting at the bar for a White Cosmopolitan I spotted Shoshanna Lowenstein or I should say I spotted her huge breasts in a severely low-cut dress and then I realized they belonged to Shoshanna Lowenstein.

(Just for the record, a White Cosmpolitan is not this summer's "It" drink.)
