Today, freelance writer Kristen Kemp dissed an editor named 'Martha' in a Mediabistro tell-all. The best part is that there's ten sides to every story (particularly today, for some reason). After the jump: two views on 'Martha' the former Cosmo editor — and some backlash directed at Kristen.

I worked with "Martha" at a different magazine, and I totally concur that she's a raging bitch. Among her lovely qualities: She took three-hour lunches on a regular basis, accused several innocent girls in the office of having bulimia (the ones that were thinner than her, of course), and over-edited my copy to the point that I asked my byline be removed several times. I have never felt such sweet schadenfreude as when she was canned from her deputy job.

And on the other hand:

i have to say that kristen kemp article is insane if only because it was such a minor incident so long ago. i was working at cosmo at the time and that is not why kristen doesn't write there any more. if "organizational nightmare" is the bitchiest edit comment kristen ever got, then, well i have nothing to say. but the point is martha's got a temper and a lot of lawyer friends and i smell a libel threat once martha finds out.
