We've been wanting to do a story about how exhausted all the editors at New York mag are, about how editor Adam Moss is working them all into the ground in preparation for the upcoming relaunch of the mag, that sorta thing. But, get this — no one wants to talk!

And then we realized, hey, that's a great story! How did Adam Moss take the world's most gossip-loving staff and bludgeon them into submission? This is perhaps the largest collective of loose-tongued gossip-hounds in Manhattan — who are now all, almost without exception, either too tired or too scared to even send catty emails from their Hotmail accounts. Is that what they teach you at the New York Times? Adam should so totally teach a Learning Annex class about this.
