In case you didn't notice, yesterday saw the legal oddity of a U.S. Secret Service expert witness pleading not guilty to perjury charges related to testimony in the Martha Stewart case. Will it bolster Martha's chance of a retrial? Not really. But where's Martha? Reports a reader/foodie:

Saw Martha Stewart last night at Babbo. She was with two older fellas and one young couple. They sat in the upstairs dining room and Martha kept her back to the wall—she's learning fast. In prison, you expose your back and it's shiv time! Seriously. Saw that in Oz. Or maybe Chicago. As far as I could tell, Martha didn't smile once. When the fivesome left, Martha led and the rest follwed somberly, as if they had just been told that the Imclone trials had failed.
