1. Just how far apart were New York mag editor Adam Moss and former New York editor Caroline Miller seated at Lever House last Friday? (Miller was dining with the dreaded Wicked Witch of the West Side, Harper's Bazaar editor Glenda Bailey.) Answer: Two tables away, says WWD. But Rush & Molloy claim the twosome were seated "at a safe remove."

2. Will carb-faced designer Narciso Rodriguez give up his own shop and design for Armani? New York mag says someone within Armani is claiming that Giorgio Armani himself wants Rodriguez to be his heir. Daily News gossip-boy Lloyd Grove claims even Narciso's people say "It's not true!"

How are we supposed to get through our days without knowing these vital pieces of information without any degree of accuracy? Does anyone care about anything important any more?
