We've heard many rumors of an upcoming war, and now it begins: Daily News gossip-fumbler Lloyd Grove attempts today to give a thrashing to the fun-loving terror cult that is Page Six. Violence! Violence!

Access Hollywood, Grove claims, is pissed about Monday's Page Six item about their interviewer Billy Bush, and they've sent Grove their tapes to dispute the item. Grove even drags in that Page Six's chief gunwoman Paula Froelich has an arrangement with Access Hollywood competitor Entertainment Tonight. Dirty, dirty pool! (And circumstantial ad hominem to boot!)

Now, we await retaliation. Our prediction: Page Sixer Ian Spiegelman emerges from his Queens hideout with a baseball bat, intent on beating down Grove. Wisely, Grove counters with his glamazon associate Elisa Lipsky-Karasz, using her to distract Spiegelman with only her sharp tongue and her fine form. Round one will go to Grove, but then the real fun begins...
