After extreme efforts to lure A-list celebs to Manhattan's piping hot Spice Market for the party to celebrate the release of Janet Jackson's latest album, the guest list was lukewarm at best. When the most luminous names at a party are Courtney Love and Al Sharpton, it's lucky if it makes the papers. Jackson herself was two hours late, as if even she didn't want to go.

Now, if Courtney Love had been on Al Sharpton, that would get some press. Give Courtney five bucks and she'll lapdance any Presidential candidate.
