Save The Media: Ground Floor Offices
Blogger Aaron Bailey has the solution to save media: make all reporters and editors work in an office where they can look outside and see real, actual people. It came to him in a dream about aliens (of course):
The aliens demanded one simple thing of us humans before they would leave Earth. They required every print media journalist to work from an office with a window on the ground floor, in order to better see the people they were reporting on. That's it. Nothing more. Nothing less... In my dream, I remember specifically being told that [Conde Nast editorial director] James Truman needed to move to the ground floor to be closer to "the people" who purchased his magazines. I woke up before learning if Truman complied.
Freak. No more nachos before bed, Mr. Bailey.
