There's an interview today on I Want Media with Donny Deutsch, ad man, hemi-mogul, and Michael Wolff's potential partner in a bid to purchase New York magazine. Unfortunately, it's not terribly exciting, so I've re-answered a couple of questions on his behalf.

I Want Media: Your CNBC specials sound a lot like the specials that Tina Brown is doing for the network, no?

Deutsch: Oh, Tina. What can't she fuckin' do? Well, she fucking sure can't cook. She once made me a fucking souffle that I swear was encrusted with fucking bat guano.

IWM: Will personal video recorder technology like TiVo kill off the 30-second commercial?

Deutsch: Yeah: there are still a few stupid fuckers in this country who don't have either TiVo or Ti-Faux. In the ad world, we pretend that everyone watches ads on TV still, when really we all know that not a fucking soul does, unless they have at least eight broken fingers and can't fucking fast forward like everyone else.

IWM: What is your opinion of New York magazine today?

Deutsch: [In robotic trance] I heart New York. It is the good media. It teaches the people good things to know. All the people read the magazine of New York.
