"Native son of the Williamsburg scene" David Shapiro is building a supermarket for his exhibition in a Williamsburg gallery. Oh, but look! All the food in this store has already been eaten! For yes, these products are a complete record of everything Mr. Shapiro has consumed for the last two years.

Wow.

I hear that Mr. Shapiro, in a wry incisive commentary on American consumption, will have an accompanying exhibit of two years of his feces. It's bound to be thought-provoking. Why, I might never eat again!
