The Cindy Adams/Lloyd Grove deathmatch regarding exactly which sultry Sykes sister was the once-betrothed of once-hot young painter Damian Loeb is officially over.

For those playing along at home, the correct Sykes sister is the unfortunately-named Plum, author of Bergdorf Blondes. (Advance: $625K. Current Amazon sales rank: 1,255,773.) That would mean Ms. Adams, who had her money incorrectly on Lucy Sykes, is beheading an intern somewhere in the Post's back offices. That's okay: that's what interns are for. Recently I discovered that Gawker intern Lindsay misspelled Observer media reporter Sridhar Pappu's name on a calligraphed seating chart. Well, I'm ashamed to admit I kicked the poor thing in the spleen so hard she peed blood for a week.
