Gawker
Gawker is a fast-growing Manhattan web magazine, with an influence well beyond its direct audience. Gawker's mix of media, gossip, entertainment, fashion, and real estate snippets — updated more than daily — has made it one of the hottest new upscale titles, either online or offline, of 2003. Gawker recently made Entertainment Weekly's "It" List as a "must-read for Manhattan's media elite" and also was chosen as one of Time Magazine's 50 Best Websites. According to Michael Gross of the New York Daily News, "Everyone who is anyone in chic Manhattan is reading gawker.com — or should be."

Gawker's audience has grown rapidly since its launch in December 2002, and now attracts over 30,000 visitors per day, and over 900,000 page views per month. Our recent reader poll confirmed that the savvy Gawker audience is perfect for an upscale advertiser, with very high income and education levels as well as confirmed online shopping habits.

Gizmodo
Gizmodo is edited by Peter Rojas, a tech journalist who writes for The New York Times, Wired, Salon and the Guardian. Gizmodo readers are extremely influencial and tech savvy, perfect for electronic and computing advertisers, and depend on the site to guide their personal and professional technology purchases: "Coming from a gadget savvy home, we're always looking for new toys."; "...Gizmodo is a fun read and a useful place to research things when you start thinking about buying a new gadget."; "I would expect that I will use info on this site repeatedly in forming purchase decisions."

According to a recent survey, Gizmodo readers visit very often and use the site to guide their professional and personal tech shopping. Most Gizmodo readers have direct or indirect responsibility for their company's technology purchasing, and personally, even more purchase home electronics and computer hardware online specifically including cell phones, wireless networking gear, laptop computers, digital cameras, PDAs, and desktop computers within the next 12 months. The site receives over 500,000 impressions and over 300,000 visitors per month.

For the right candidate, we can offer a 30-50% commission on all advertising. If you are interested please contact advertising@gawker.com.
