· DaSilvano, last night: Graydon Carter, very tan and with perfectly flipped hair, dining with two female companions. Rupert Murdoch entering with Roger Ailes (FoxNews). Ronald Perlman, greeting both tables, then dining at a different table. All followed by Steven Tyler, who at first looked liked was denied a table, then appeared magically at a 2 top outside - dining with a youngish looking blonde female companion.
· Spotted: Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), walking alone, talking on his cell phone. When: [yesterday] (1:45pm) Where: Walking on 57th St.(& 7 Ave., by Pick-a-Bagel), crossing towards Cafe Europa and then continuing down 57th. Wearing: Light colored jeans, black tank top, light-cyclamen shirt tied around waist, black leather bag. Occurrence: Two girls walking past him, in the opposite direction: "You rock!". His answer: "Thank you". Impression: Unassuming, polite, and just way shorter than what I thought (almost my height 5'6").
· [yesterday] 1:30pm: I just saw Stephen Tyler, sans entourage, walking down West 57th St. between 7th and Broadway. He was talking at a modest volume on his cell phone and looking like...well, Stephen Tyler.

· Sighting - 12:00am last night Steven and Liv Tyler walking her king charles cavalier puppy on Bleeker. Steven looked amazing - had a crazy patterned button down shirt on and black pants and Liv even more amazing dressed in a fitted pale blue dress. Her skin is porcelain and I was surprised at how china doll-like she really is. Her husband Roy Langston might have been with them but my eyes were too fixated on the father/daughter combo.
· 4:05 pm: Hillary Swank in front of Adorama on 18th St. between 5 & 6 talking to some guy who looks like Chad Lowe, but it wasn't.
· Spotted the beautiful (way prettier in person, in fact stunning)Soledad O'Brien lunching alone at Shaffer City Oyster Bar.
· George Plimpton at the Coral Room at 12:45 last night.
· I saw Willie Garson (of Sex and The City and many many other things...) taking in the Laura Cantrell show at Madison Square Park last night.
· A bit of a strange mixture of people at Pianos last night (7/17) to see the bands Cherry and Baby (featuring former members of Shudder To Think and Girls Against Boys) at one point I spotted Paul, the cute lead singer of hip NY band Interpol, as well as Hank the drunken angry dwarf [Ed.this one's doubtful, as Hank died a couple of years ago] from the Howard Stern show along with Casey the intern I think.
· last night I was at the afterparty for the premiere of the Mandy Moore flick "How to Deal." Lauren Bush showed up with a gaggle of girlfriends — probably classmates from Princeton. She's shorter than I would have thought, like 5'6" or something. And REALLY skinny. Has the body of a 10-year-old boy.
